Reverse description A stylized tree occupies the central field, its upper branches bearing leaves pointing upward and its lower branches splaying outward, the trunk terminating in five distinct roots at the base. The design is rendered in the schematic, abstracted manner characteristic of late 14th-century Gotlandic coinage. The tree device is fully encircled by a circular legend in uncial Latin script. The overall composition is symmetrical and heraldic in nature.
