The monogram is boldly struck and embellished with fleur-de-lis terminals, consistent with the decorative conventions of late medieval Gotlandic municipal coinage. A beaded inner border frames the design, with the surrounding civic legend partially legible along the rim of the irregularly shaped flan. The execution reflects the hand-engraved craftsmanship typical of fourteenth-century Baltic hammered coinage. |
