Reverse description Central field features a heraldic shield bearing the Three Crowns of Sweden (tre kronor), a principal symbol of the Swedish realm, set within a beaded inner circle. The shield is depicted in a Gothic heraldic style consistent with early Vasa-period coinage. The surrounding peripheral legend in Gothic script reads MONETA°NOA°WESTERARS°, identifying this as a new coinage of Västerås. The overall design reflects the raw, hand-struck character typical of Swedish billon örtug production of the 1520s.
