| Beschrijving voorzijde | Full-length standing effigy of King Gustav Vasa, mantled, facing forward within a partial inner circle, holding a raised sword in the right hand and a globus cruciger in the left. Below the royal figure, a quartered shield bearing the arms of Vasa and Dalarna (crossed arrows) is positioned centrally in the lower field. The legend, invoking Saint Erik as King of Sweden, runs along the outer border outside the partial circle. The composition reflects the early Renaissance heraldic style characteristic of Swedish hammered coinage of the 1520s. |

The mint name legend identifies Uppsala as the place of issue, with the date 1523 appearing at the close of the inscription. The design is typical of early Vasa-period ecclesiastical-influenced civic coinage, with the cross serving as both a religious and compositional device. |
