1 Onza Pattern, Troy, Elefante

The 1951 Elefante pattern was part of Mexico's internal evaluation of a potential silver bullion onza series — a project that never reached commercial production. The Casa de Moneda struck several distinct pattern types that year under different design approaches, each catalogued separately, none adopted.
