| Obverse description | Central field displays a heraldic shield bearing three crowns arranged two over one, the arms of Sweden, enclosed within a beaded inner circle. Small rosette or floral ornaments are visible flanking the shield in the field. The surrounding legend in Gothic uncial characters reads the invocation to Saint Eric, patron saint of Sweden, separated by star and figure-eight stops. The coin exhibits the characteristically irregular flan and bold relief typical of late medieval Swedish hammered silver coinage. |
