| Reverse description | Central field displays a large Gothic letter 'E' (for Ericus) set upon a plain cross, all within a beaded inner circle. The monogram is boldly rendered in the Gothic style characteristic of early fifteenth-century Scandinavian coinage. A circular legend in Gothic uncial characters surrounds the central device, reading as the mint name Stockholm, separated from the inner device by the beaded border. The flan is irregular and slightly wavy at the edges, consistent with hand-hammered production techniques of the period. |
