Reverse description The reverse is divided into three horizontal registers by double-ruled lines. A prominent radiant sun device — the solar symbol closely associated with Jahangir's imperial iconography — occupies the central field, featuring a round disc surrounded by boldly struck rays. Nasta'liq Persian inscriptions fill the upper and lower registers, recording the mint name Ajmir (Ajmer), the regnal year, and the Hijri date. The field is plain and the overall die work reflects the high-relief hammered technique typical of Mughal imperial gold coinage of the early seventeenth century.
