| Obverse description | Quartered heraldic shield at center, dividing the field into four quarters each bearing the arms of the Archbishopric of Riga — the upper quarters display crossed staffs and a chevron motif, while the lower quarters bear floral and ecclesiastical devices. A cross pattée surmounts the shield at top center, with the date numerals '3' and '7' flanking the cross within the upper field.
