Obverse description Central field dominated by a large crowned Gothic initial 'C' — the royal cypher of Christian II — struck on an irregular, roughly square flan characteristic of klipping coinage. The crown surmounting the letter is rendered in a simple, bold style with visible pellet ornaments along its arch. The flan surface is coarse and uneven, consistent with emergency hammered production, with no surrounding legend. The design is stark and utilitarian, conveying royal authority through the crowned monogram alone.
