| Obverse description | Printed entirely in dark green on grey-green paper, the obverse bears the denomination 'EINE MARK' in large Gothic Fraktur script at centre, surmounted by the arched legend 'Darlehnskassenschein' in matching blackletter type. Two circular medallions at left and right each carry an Imperial eagle within the legend 'REICHSSCHULDENVERWALTUNG' and the numeral '1'. Below the denomination, the place and date of issue read 'Berlin, den 15. September 1922' above the issuing authority 'Reichsschuldenverwaltung', beneath which appear two rows of facsimile signatures. |
