| 背面描述 | The crowned greater coat of arms of Sweden is prominently displayed at centre, supported on either side by standing lions as heraldic supporters. A scroll beneath the arms and supporters bears the national motto SVERIGES VAL. The denomination 1 KRONA is inscribed above the arms, while the date and the mint engraver's initials E.B. flank the lower portion of the design near the rim. |

Oscar II died in December 1907, making this two-year type a de facto memorial issue by circumstance rather than design. His reign of 33 years was the longest of any Swedish monarch to that point, and the monetary reforms of the 1870s — which anchored Sweden to the Scandinavian Monetary Union alongside Denmark and Norway — defined the silver standard these coins were struck to.
The .800 fineness was set by the 1873 monetary convention, a deliberate step down from earlier .750 domestic coinage to align with Danish and Norwegian specifications.
