| 裏面の説明 | The reverse displays the crowned Swedish coat of arms at centre, featuring the three-field quartered shield with the three crowns of Sweden and the Folkung lion, surmounted by the royal crown. To the left and right of the shield appear the mintmaster's initials 'R' and 'R'. The denomination '1 KR' is inscribed to the right of the shield, with the trial designation 'PROV' below it. The date '19 67' is divided across the upper field, flanking the crown. The motto 'PLIKTEN · FRAMFÖR · ALLT' (Duty Above All) runs along the lower periphery in raised Latin lettering. |

Kungliga Myntet conducted extensive alloy trials in the mid-1960s as Sweden prepared to decimalize its currency ahead of the 1972 conversion. Nickel-chromium was among several compositions tested before cupro-nickel was ultimately chosen for circulating 1 Krona production. Trial strikes of this kind were never released to the public and typically exist in very small numbers, distributed only to mint archives and occasionally to official testing bodies.
