| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Ferdinand II facing right, occupying the central field within a beaded inner circle. The emperor is depicted with stylized facial features and ruffled collar typical of early seventeenth-century Habsburg portraiture. A circular Latin legend surrounds the bust reading FERD II D G R I S A G H B REX, identifying the ruler by his titles as King of Romans, Germany, Hungary, and Bohemia. The overall style is characteristic of hammered coinage of the period, with slightly irregular flan edges. |

| Reverse description | Displayed double-headed imperial eagle with spread wings occupying the central field, bearing the Habsburg arms on its breast, within a beaded inner circle. The eagle's heads are crowned and face outward, rendered in the bold, somewhat schematic style typical of hammered Habsburg kreuzer coinage. The encircling Latin legend reads ARCHID A I BC TV followed by the mint year, referencing Ferdinand II's title as Archduke of Austria. The date appears in the lower portion of the legend, and a mint mark is present at the base of the design. |
