Reverse description Hammered silver field dominated by a stylized katar (a form of push dagger), the heraldic emblem of Kutch, rendered in a characteristic angular, schematic manner. The weapon motif is centrally positioned within the field and is flanked by additional epigraphic elements in Arabic script disposed around the design. The irregular flan and rough surfaces are consistent with the hand-struck hammered technique of the period. The composition reflects the fusion of local Kutchi iconographic tradition with Mughal numismatic conventions prevailing in late sixteenth-century western India.
