Obverse description A standing armored knight facing right, holding a bundle of arrows and a crowned shield, occupies the center of the field, with the date 1831 divided on either side of the figure. The circumferential Latin legend reads PARVAE CRESCUNT CONCORDIA RES, interrupted by a torch and an eagle symbol. The overall design closely follows the standard Dutch ducat type, adapted for the Polish revolutionary coinage of the November Uprising.
