| Obverse description | The Hungarian coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting the traditional quartered shield surmounted by the Holy Crown of Saint Stephen with its characteristic bent cross. The shield bears the patriarchal double cross on striped field to the right and the Árpád stripes to the left. The circular legend MAGYAR KÖZTÁRSASÁG arcs along the upper periphery, flanked by decorative dots forming a beaded border.
