Obverse description Central quartered shield bearing the arms of the Livonian Order — alternating fields with horizontal bars and a small cross — enclosed within a double beaded inner circle. The shield is surrounded by a circular Latin legend in Gothic lettering reading the Master's name and title. The overall style is characteristic of late medieval Baltic hammered coinage, with a slightly irregular flan and flat relief.
