Obverse description Central field features a lion passant facing right, rendered in a stylized Persian artistic tradition, set within a beaded inner circle. A secondary beaded border frames the design, with Arabic-script legends occupying the outer margin of the irregularly shaped flan. The overall relief is low and characteristic of hammered bronze coinage of the Qajar period. Patina and surface verdigris are consistent with extended circulation and age.
