| Description du revers | Christ in Majesty (Maiestas Domini) depicted full-length within an almond-shaped mandorla, holding the Book of Gospels in his left hand while raising his right hand in the gesture of benediction. The field is embellished with nine stars distributed to either side of the central figure — four to the left and five to the right — reinforcing the celestial iconography. The reverse legend in uncial Latin encircles the design, proclaiming Rome as the head of the world and invoking the authority of the Senate and People of Rome. |
