| Obverse description | Draped bust of Empress Maria Theresia facing right, her elaborate curled hair adorned with a diadem, wearing a mantle fastened at the neck with a brooch. The effigy is rendered in a finely detailed Baroque style with naturalistic hair and drapery. The Latin legend commences at approximately 8 o'clock and runs clockwise around the periphery. A beaded border frames the entire design. |
