Obverse description Draped bust of Emperor Leopold I facing right, wearing an elaborate long curled wig and lace cravat, with armored shoulder visible beneath the drapery. The effigy is rendered in high relief in the late Baroque style characteristic of the Hall mint. A beaded inner border frames the design, with the circular Latin legend reading LEOPOLDVS D G ROM I S A G H B REX distributed around the periphery.
