Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Joseph I facing right, wearing a full-bottomed allonge wig with flowing curls cascading over armored shoulders. The effigy is rendered in high relief in the Baroque court portrait style, with the emperor depicted in partial armor with ornamental drapery visible at the truncation. A finely engraved toothed border encircles the coin. The Latin legend runs clockwise around the periphery, identifying the emperor by his imperial and royal titles.
