Reverse description Crowned arms of Valencia — a shield bearing the distinctive diagonal bars of the Crown of Aragon — centrally placed within a beaded inner circle, surmounted by an ornate royal crown. The shield is flanked by decorative floral or foliate elements at the sides. A circular Latin legend surrounding the design reads + VALENCIE MAIORICARVM x SE, referencing Valencia and Majorca as part of the royal titles. The reverse design follows the standard Valencian ducal type of the Ferdinand II period, struck on an irregularly shaped hammered flan.
