Obverse description Equestrian effigy of King Christian V facing right, depicted in armour with flowing long hair and a baton or sword raised in his right hand, mounted on a prancing horse moving to the right across a ground line. The composition is rendered in high relief in the Baroque tradition, with the horse's forelegs raised and the king's cloak billowing behind. The field is plain and unlettered, with the coin's irregular flan characteristic of hammered production. No legend appears on this side.
