Reverse description A crowned standing lion rampant to the right, holding a halbert or curved sword in its right forepaw, accompanied by an armored figure or personification standing to the left, the latter wearing a plumed helmet adorned with feathers and a star device on the breast. Both figures are rendered in high sculptural relief within a plain field, the whole enclosed by a beaded border. The composition reflects the heraldic and allegorical imagery typical of Danish royal coinage under Christian V.
