(Translation: Carl XIV King of Sweden, Norway, the Goths and the Wends)
Reverse description Central device consisting of a crowned and mantled oval shield bearing the quartered arms of Sweden, encircled by the collar and badge of the Royal Order of the Seraphim. The royal motto FOLKETS KÄRLEK MIN BELÖNING (The love of the people is my reward) appears along both sides of the arms near the rim. The date is placed below the shield, flanked by the mintmaster's initials C.B. The overall composition is richly detailed with heraldic ornament characteristic of Swedish gold coinage of the period.
