| 裏面の説明 | Central design features a stylized six-armed cross with elongated, tapering arms, at the center of which the Roman numeral I appears above the inscription DUCAT in the central medallion. Ornate fleur-de-lis or lily blossoms occupy each of the six angles formed between the cross arms, rendered in an elaborate, almost Gothic decorative style. The fineness mark 980 appears at the lower portion of the central device. The surrounding legend is divided between the upper field, reading PRO PROSPERITATE MUNDI, and the lower field, reading AUREUS MAGNUS, both inscribed in raised Latin characters along the coin's periphery. |
