Reverse description The upper portion of the reverse features a finely detailed gold-plated relief bust of a Thylacinus cynocephalus (Tasmanian Tiger) in left profile, jaws open to display its dentition, set against a dark field, with the legend TASMANIAN TIGER inscribed in bold lettering to the upper right. The lower half of the reverse displays a lenticular or motion-picture panel rendered in full color, depicting the body of the last known Tasmanian Tiger, Benjamin, in a walking pose, with characteristic dorsal striping visible against a naturalistic background, creating a moving-image effect when the coin is tilted.
