Reverse description A richly detailed antiqued scene depicting key icons of the Steam Age: a pioneering early steam locomotive at centre, factory chimneys of steam-powered mills rising in the background, and a paddle steamship navigating open waters. Incorporated prominently into the composition is a large flywheel together with mechanical components referencing the revolutionary double-acting rotative steam engine developed by Matthew Boulton and James Watt. The design is engraved by Tom Vaughan and rendered with high relief against a deeply recessed, antiqued field, with the Perth Mint privy mark 'P' and the Tuvalu issuer abbreviation 'TV' appearing in the lower field.
