Occupying the upper and central right portions of the obverse is an elaborate gold-gilded acanthus scroll ornament in high relief, above a detailed architectural rendering of a neoclassical building facade with ornamental iron railings, also partially gilt. | 裏面の説明 | The reverse displays a full-color reproduction of Leonardo da Vinci's celebrated painting 'Lady with an Ermine' (circa 1489-1490), rendered as a colored insert set within the center of the square flan. The composition depicts a young noblewoman in three-quarter profile, dressed in Renaissance attire with a black hairband, cradling a white ermine in her arms.
