Reverse description The reverse, engraved by Natasha Muhl, presents an elaborately detailed scene of nine koi carp swimming in a circular procession amid river stones and blooming peony flowers, rendered in high relief with an antiqued finish that accentuates the deeply sculpted surfaces. The central field is dominated by the same amber-coloured crystal insert set within a polished brushed-silver annular mount, evoking the sun or a good-luck talisman. The engraver's initials 'NM' appear in the lower left of the field, while the Perth Mint's 'P' mintmark is positioned just below the central mount. The legend '1oz 9999 SILVER' is inscribed vertically along the left inner margin of the design field.
