Obverse description The obverse of this rectangular silver coin features a bold, graphic design divided diagonally into two contrasting fields — a polished mirror field in the lower portion and a frosted upper section. At the top, the series legend ART OF HUNTING and the date 2012 are inscribed in relief. A high-relief sculpted pointer dog is depicted in profile in the upper central field, rendered with fine detail in a hunting stance. Superimposed across the centre of the coin, the denomination ONE DOLLAR is spelled out in large capital letters, with the fineness mark Ag 925 and the Mint of Poland mintmark (mw) appearing to the right. The effigy of Queen Elizabeth II faces right in the lower central field, with the legend ELIZABETH II inscribed beneath, and NIUE ISLAND appearing along the bottom edge.
