Aanvullende informatie

The Bounty dollar is one of the longest-running bullion series in the Pacific, tracing back to 1987 and outlasting most competing issues from smaller sovereign mints. Cook Islands holds the legal authority to issue coinage despite having no central bank of its own — currency arrangements with New Zealand mean these are genuine legal tender instruments, not merely rounds dressed up with nominal face values.

The .9999 fineness specification, rather than the more common .999, was adopted to align with the purity standard set by the Perth Mint for its own flagship issues.
