Obverse description Central field bears multiple lines of Arabic calligraphic legend in angular naskh script, presenting the religious profession of faith (shahada) and the name of the issuing authority. The inscription is arranged in horizontal registers across the flan, with additional marginal legend encircling the field along the periphery. The coin is irregularly shaped, consistent with hammered medieval Islamic coinage, and exhibits characteristic die wear and surface irregularities typical of provincial Rasulid-era dirhams.
