Reverse description The reverse presents a finely detailed frontal view of the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, the celebrated Romanesque and Baroque pilgrimage church in Galicia, Spain. The composition faithfully renders the twin Churrigueresque towers of the Obradoiro facade, flanking the central section with its elaborate sculptural programme including the figure of Saint James above the central portal. The intricate architectural detailing of the facade's pilasters, niches, and decorative stonework is rendered with precision across the small flan. The curved legend SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTEL·LA arcs along the upper periphery in raised Latin lettering.
