| Reverse description | Central field displaying a multi-line Arabic inscription arranged in horizontal registers within a raised inner circle, surrounded by a marginal legend in Arabic script. The reverse legends include the name and titles of the ruler Suyurghatmish along with standard formulaic phrases asserting dynastic and religious legitimacy. The script is bold Naskh, deeply struck but showing typical die wear and flan irregularity consistent with hammered gold coinage of the Qutlugh-Khanid dynasty. A partially visible marginal band frames the central text zone. The overall composition follows the epigraphic style prevalent in contemporary Ilkhanid-influenced coinage of Fars. |
