Reverse description Epigraphic reverse following standard Abbasid dinar layout, with multiple horizontal lines of Kufic Arabic script filling the central field, recording the mint name (Misr), the regnal year, and acknowledgment of the Abbasid caliph alongside the Tulunid governor Harun ibn Khumarawayh. A circular marginal legend in Kufic script surrounds the central text panel, separated by a plain inner border ring. The surface shows typical die wear and slight flan irregularity consistent with hammered gold coinage of ninth-century Egypt.
