| Obverse description | Central field occupied by a multi-line Arabic religious and titular legend arranged in horizontal registers within a single inner circle. The field script is executed in an angular Kufic style characteristic of Khwarazmian gold coinage of the 12th century. A secondary marginal legend in Arabic script runs along the outer border between two concentric circles, continuing the inscription around the full circumference. The flan is irregular and slightly clipped at one edge, typical of hammered medieval Islamic dinars. The overall design follows the Abbasid epigraphic tradition, with no figural imagery. |
