Reverse description Central field displays the crossed keys of Saint Peter, the emblematic symbol of papal authority, enclosed within a raised inner circle. The keys are depicted in a stylised medieval manner typical of Avignon-period papal issues. The surrounding circumferential Latin legend reads PATRIM٠S٠PETRI, referencing the Patrimony of Saint Peter, the temporal territory administered from Montefiascone. A beaded or linear outer border completes the design. The composition and execution are consistent with other billon piccoli of Benedict XII.
