Obverse description Irregular hammered flan bearing the regnal date rendered in stylized Arabic script occupying the central field. The inscription, expressing the date in words following Mughal numismatic convention, is boldly struck in high relief against a rough, granular surface typical of base-metal Mughal coinage. The design is enclosed within a roughly circular border, with the script arranged in a cursive, interlocking fashion characteristic of Akbar-period dam issues.

Reverse description The reverse presents the mint name Bahraich and the denomination in stylized Arabic script, disposed across the central field of the irregular hammered flan. The legend is struck in bold, somewhat crude relief consistent with provincial Mughal copper coinage of the Akbar era. The characters are arranged in a flowing cursive hand, filling the available field, with the rough granular surface of the copper flan visible in the margins.
