Reverse description Reverse displays a multi-line Arabic inscription in the field, divided by a horizontal line into two registers, bearing the mint name Bairata and the regnal year (julus) in bold, somewhat irregular calligraphy characteristic of Mughal provincial copper issues. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, with no decorative border, and the legends are struck with the characteristic shallow relief of hammered copper dams produced at subsidiary mints of the Mughal Empire.
