| Obverse description | Draped bust of Queen Christina facing left, her hair loosely curled and adorned with a pearl-studded coif, wearing an ornate lace-trimmed bodice with decorative brooch at the décolletage. The effigy is rendered in high relief with considerable artistic detail, occupying the majority of the inner field. The bust is uncrowned, presenting a youthful portrait of the queen. A beaded inner border separates the portrait from the encircling Latin legend, which reads continuously around the periphery within the raised rim. |
