Obverse description Bareheaded, armored bust of Herman Diederik facing semi-right, rendered in a style typical of late 16th-century Netherlands provincial coinage. The effigy displays a raised collar above the armored shoulders. The date is divided by the bust in two two-digit groups within the field. The legend is contained between two pearled circles and reads in Latin around the periphery.
