| Opis rewersu | Central field depicts the Gloster E.28/39 Whittle jet aircraft in three-quarter perspective taxiing on a runway, with a biplane and billowing cumulus clouds in the background, evoking the contrast between early and modern aviation. Incuse lettering GLOSTER WHITTLE JET appears beneath the aircraft, with the commemorative date 1941 below. The denomination ONE CROWN arcs along the lower periphery, while BICENTENARY OF MANNED FLIGHT curves along the upper border.
