| Descrizione del dritto | Central square perforation surrounded by a raised inner rim and a broad flat field, bearing the four-character reign title legend 元豐通寶 (Yuanfeng Tongbao) arranged in running script (xingshu) in the four cardinal positions around the central hole — top, bottom, right, and left respectively. A small crescent mark appears in the field, serving as a mint or furnace identification symbol. The characters are rendered in a fluid, cursive calligraphic style characteristic of Northern Song coinage, enclosed between a raised inner square rim and a plain outer rim. The coin displays an olive-green patina consistent with burial bronze. |
