| Obverse description | Octagonal copper flan with a dentilated inner border running along all eight sides. The upper portion of the field bears a two-line Devanagari legend divided by a horizontal rule, reading 'Chitrakoot' above and 'Udaipur' below, identifying the issuing princely state and its capital. In the lower portion of the field, a stylised depiction of the Chitrakoot fortress or palace complex is rendered in low relief, with battlements, towers, and architectural detail visible. The overall design is bold and typographic, characteristic of the late Mewar princely coinage issued under Maharana Bhupal Singh. |
