Obverse description Central field divided by a horizontal line, below which a trishul (trident) is depicted in relief with stylized prongs, accompanied by a floral motif to the right. Above the dividing line, a Devanagari or Persian-influenced inscription appears in the upper register. The design is characteristic of crude hammered workmanship typical of provincial Maratha coinage, with irregular flan and bold symbolic devices.
