| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Leopold I facing right, set within a prominent diamond-shaped (lozenge) inner frame. The emperor is depicted with his characteristic long flowing wig and distinctive physiognomy. The denomination mark '1/4' appears in an oval cartouche at the base of the lozenge.
