Obverse description Central field bears a three-line Arabic inscription reading 'Sultan Abd Al-Aziz Khan', enclosed within a beaded or plain inner circle. Flanking the central cartouche on both sides is a wreath composed of two olive or laurel branches, tied at the base with a ribbon bow, forming an oval frame around the legend. The overall design is simple and typographic, with no pictorial effigy, characteristic of Ottoman-era Tunisian coinage.
